About Dessislava Tcholakova (RGN, MSc Advanced Clinical Practice Healthcare)
Dessislava Tcholakova is a highly skilled Advanced Nurse Practitioner and Independent Prescriber with over 16 years of experience across various medical settings, including cosmetic surgery, urgent care centers, GP practices, walk-in clinics, NHS 111, and operating theatres. Her diverse medical background provides her with a comprehensive understanding of patient care, making her an expert in both general and aesthetic medicine.
Holding a Master’s degree in Advanced Clinical Practice Healthcare from St. George’s University, Dessislava has specialized in aesthetic procedures, completing advanced training in anti-wrinkle treatments, dermal fillers, and chemical peels at foundation, advanced, and masterclass levels. She has also developed extensive expertise in dermatology, working with leading skincare brands such as Obagi, ZO Skin Health, and Neostrata.
Her dedication to professional development is demonstrated by her completion of all dermatology courses through Wigmore Medical, Croydon Cosmetic Clinic, and Cosmetic Courses. In addition to her aesthetic expertise, she has expanded her knowledge in women’s health, having completed a Diploma in Menopause, and is an active member of the British Menopause Society.
Dessislava is also specialized in medical weight loss, having successfully completed the National Medical Weight Loss Programme, allowing her to provide expert guidance and treatments to patients seeking safe and effective weight management solutions.
